You guys that put down the Poulans never ran the good ones with the magnesium cases. Here is a 3750 60cc I just picked up and put a muffler mod and carb tune and it runs right with my 262xp 62cc with muffler mod. Running same chain and bar on each with 7T. |

Yeah, gotta agree. Worked with a guy back in the early 90's that had a Poulan that ran all day every day. Had to use it a time or two and it was truly a good saw. I must say though, all I had for comparison was and Mac--Pro-mac (1010?? I think). Which also ran pretty good. That's honestly the only Poulan I ever knew of that ran and cut good. Since those days I've swapped back and forth Stihl, Husky, Stihl, Husky, now I'm pretty sold on my 361- probably for life. Wish I could still buy another one. Hey, what happened to Windy and Therrin??? Noticed there not here (former member) anymore.

I have owned stock muffler modded Stihl MS361 too. I have always said that the 3750 would run right with it too, which it will easy. This is my 2nd 3750. I also owned a woods ported 357xp, but there was no comparison there and never ran a stock 357 to date to tell I have owned the Poulan 305 49cc, 335 53cc, 330 54cc, 3300 54cc and 3750 60cc and all ran right with or out cut there expensive counter parts. |

I picked up a 357 stock once at the dealer, but that's all, just held it, never ran it, didn't buy one. Seamed like a heavy saw, cumbersome kinda powerhead and I wasn't able to justify needing anything that big then as I wasn't cutting much other than pruning. Opted for a 034 instead (one of my stihl back and forths). A lot of years ago myu grandad had an old Homelite XL12. Saw I cut my teeth on. It ran great, always started, cut decent, learned alot from that old saw---mostly what not to do. It's the only Homelite I ever ran and the only one I ever heard of that did. lol |
