Have started rebuildind a old mcculloch mac 10-10 automatic chain saw. Was given to me by my wifes dad. Would like to know what the point gap setting should be? Also while i'm at it would anyone know the gap setting between the flywheel, and the ignition coil ? Thanks Jim |

I use a fresh crisp dollar bill to set my mac points. Now as to fly wheel use a standard business card. |

.016" on the points, and .012" on the coil air gap. Business card will get both close enough to run. Dollar bill will have the points waaaayyyy retarded. it may run, but not develop even close to full power. Nice project, got any pics?
