Hey there how ya'll doing? I am getting Started in the Defensible Spacing Market here in the U.S. and picked up a Stihl 044. Just wondering what the best and most basic saw mods that i can do are? My jobs require more brush cutting than timber cutting, if that makes any difference. Thanks for the help!

Welcome to TreeWorld!

An 044 in good condition is a ripper saw as is, do you really need to modify it for your purpose?

If so, a performance muffler would give it some gains.
