just got to use my brand new ms441cm-tronic and i LOVE it!!!! great power, the 25" bar is a nice comfortable length, the electronic carb works perfect. no complaints at all... other tha the stupid flippy gas cap broke right away. good thing they keep plenty of replacements at the dealer |

its just the standard half wrap. ive never seen much use for the 3/4 or full wrap handles for what i do. mite try one someday tho. the AV is.... well its a little different. i only ran two tanks thru it yesterday so it wasnt a great test on my arms. today is a cutting day if i ever get out there so ill know more tonite. it seems to be ok. it doesnt twist all over and throw a j in my cut that i have to fight with. just a little strange havin a floppy power head

If you dont like the floppy power head feel you can get stiffer AV spring that come out on the Wrap model. They allso love a muff modd. |

They really respond well to a muff modd the electronics adjust no problem. This is on a ported MTronic, even if you only inlarge the stock port will help a lot. |

Have not used the 441, was going to buy one but ended up getting n 046 Magnum. On my dual port muffler, I enlarged the front hole by 1.5 mm wider and 1.5 mm longer. I ripped out the spark arrestor screens and installed 2 mm stainless steel mesh from a shale shaker screen from one of the oil rigs I worked on. It is a fair bit louder, ear plugs muffs are neaded but has good power from it. I was thinking of discarding them all together but dont want wasps building a nest in there. I have never had trouble with a fire from a chainsaw before in our Dry Season. Darwin, you can do what you want.No wowsers regarding chainsaw specs/ noise but I dont work in a pine forest and dont use it in town. I have a big bore kit and hi flow air cleaner on the way.By the time I port and polish it , hopefull I will have the power of an 066 but .7 kg lighter. Sorry for derailing your 441 site but modded mufflers DO help. Buy yourself some gaskets and port/polish it. Well worth the effort. Regards sun64 |

Muff modds and ported saws are the way to go for sure. In this vid is a stock 441 a ported 441CMTronic a stock 460 all with the same bar and chain. |
