Dont know much about the 390,some say its smoother than 660 but hasnt got the torque of the 660.I have been using 660s for years and its my most used saw of all of them.I have been playing with a modded one the last few weeks and there is gains to be made with a saw like that. Some how get hold of both together and run up against each other. |

I have a 660 and wont trade it. but i have heard that the air filter system is better on the husky than a 66. The fuel tank on a 66 lets you see how much juice you have left which is a good idea when you are up a tree blocking down I have seen a few huskies get hard to start when they have been worked hard on a hot day. Something about fuel evaporating in the lines. There is another post where fuel evap was mention but i cant find it at the moment. |

I forgot to add that it seems faster/easier to get Husky parts in Sydney than Stihl parts. generally get Husky parts in 1 day.
