Hi all I can't decide betwwen a ms361 and a ms381. Does the ms381 have a magnesium housing like the 361 or is it plastic. The 381 has more engine capacity and wieght but not much more power. I'm leaning towards the 361 because it's a kilo lighter and nearly the same power. Whats the real difference and why would you bother with the 381 based on having bugger all more power. Any advice would be great thanks. |

Isnt the 381 the 038 mag 72cc 1985-?? we used to get, but stihl still sells new in some country's?

| Yes, it is a development of the 038 Mag II, and made in Brazil. Both Stihl and Husky make several basically obsolete models there, mainly for "Third World" markets, but also a few other markets with "lax" emission laws.
