Default ms270 vibration damper repair

Hi All!

I have a new pile of wood to cut up, so I bought a "project" saw from my brother . Any suggestion on how to insert the annular buffers back into the holes? Should I take them out first and line up the holes? Do you put the spring part on first?

I have the Parts Illustration to order the missing plugs. It looks like Bailey's has some of the parts, but not all. Is there a better place to order parts? My local dealer does not have parts people in on the weekends, so I hope to order online.

Thanks! This is a great place to learn about saws!

pop the rubber dampers out of the handle assy. Line things up and get the spring in place. Now insert the rubber dampers through the metal casing and into the plastic.
