Default make 066 better

hi i have an older model 066 with a 20in bar that origionally didnt have a compression release but since then i have put on a woodland pro big bore kit and the new stock cover.but im looking for more hp without sacrificing reliability.oh also the saw has the factory dual port mufler.what else can i do to gain more hp?thanks

Woods port it. Here is my 066 no de-comp either. DP muffler cover. Stock flat top piston, no pop up domed piston or window porting or lightening. Check squish and tighten it up if needed, then widen and clean up your exhaust and intake ports first. Other stuff later if you need more.

Usually wears a 25" or 32". For cookie cutting in 10x10 I put a 16" on it.

Testing different chains in 23" spruce one day for fun on my stock bore woods ported 066. Very mild.

cool vid thanks for the advice. what does woods porting it require? please excuse me the only thing i have done on a 2st is swap cylinders.
