does anybody know of a good site to learn to identify firewood. I want to learn to identify them when I see the tree and also when it has been split.

Google search the word, firewood and then again firewood identification, you will be amazed at the info out there.

go to arborday.com lot of info. aspen is if but the rest of th leaf bearing trees are good as well as pine.
