Default Husky Gurus have a ? about pistons

Hey guys I have a 575xp and a 346xp and both have basically welded the ring into the piston. What causes this, neither saw is very old. I have alot of 2 stroke epuipment and its only happened to these. I run 50:1 ratio. Tell me what you guys think.

Heat, too lean mixture.

Maybe poor quality 2 stroke oil or using mineral oil at 50:1 instead of synthetic.

I do not run any saws on 50:1 regardless, rather have a rich saw with a bit of smoke than a stuffed saw. I run around 32:1 to 40:1 and use the lower octane unleaded (not premium) but not E10 stuff.

I'm no guru, but I think we need pictures. Was there any other damage? Ring's welding to the piston with no other damage sounds unusual to me.

Yup, there are several kits out there. Just go to ebay & search for 575xp.
