Default Husky 340 mod.

OK I want to get a bit more out of this saw is a port/muff. mod possible?
I read the Stihl thread but they are different machines.
Will the same principles work and has anyone done it?

I am sure it cant be too much different to other Husky models.

BTW I could not find the thread for Husky mods.
Is it under a different title?

Talking Re: Husky 340 mod.

Search muffler modification. Open the outlet hole 25% of the stock hole and retune the saw, stay on the fat side of the carby low screw.

A mate of mine has a 340; great little saw! Why mod it? It shits all over anything else in its class already! I wish I had one!

I felt the saw was just getting a bit tired.
Upon cleaning I noticed the throttle was not opening all the way.
Pulled the linkage and notice the part has wear from usage.
A quick mod to that and now I am just waiting on a gasket.
