Iv always been an 020 man, but i like the "feel" of the husky, but the 335 was not my cup of tea, any bad exp with the 338. Also are AMICK's prices serious??? |

Mate, Amick's is for real, that's USA dollars and the exchange rate is very good at the moment. I just got a 440 from USA, but Husky's are even better a deal. That 372 is a bloody good saw if you dont cut palms.

MTS247, I looked around for Ekka, I know where there are 4 more New 440's. PM me if you need the numbers. Maybe I should buy them and be the middleman. Nah, I'm used to ethical practices. Really!!!

I had nothing but trouble with a 338 I bought. Hardly would oil, I took it back, the dealer tried to b.s. his way out of fixing it. While waiting to get it back, I bought a 200t and now the husky sits on the shelf. It still does not oil as much as it should either.

Eats it faster than a Stihl however the real problem is how the brake spring sits in that slot. Within a few months the screws that hold the plastic cover on the spring are corroded away (the thread is in the chasis) then the back of the alloy chasis recess the spring sits in gets corroded away and bingo no brake and bugger all hope of fixing it. Good saw for wood, sucks for palms. But I own a 460 and a 440 and I can say the 460 is a much better powerful torquier saw, the 440 is maybe not as good though ... the 372 sits between those 2 Stihl models.
