Thats my price from the local dealer as well, ebay had a brand newy go for $1825.00 the other day and often have them "buy it now for between $2100.00 to $2350.00 (plus freight). If for some reason your not interested in the $1,000.00 drop us a line as I have been looking for one as well.

Cheers

Tony

$1000 is good if it's not stuffed.

Hahaha, even I can give you the definition of "stuffed" in Aussie language, it means the saw is "F@%$D", or is "worn to the shit-house", "is caputo" , "ain't worth the trouble", "totally flogged"...!

You can also say that, the machine can be "on its last legs"...!

Is this a bit clear for you...!

Cheers
George

Those 088's are nicer than the 880's in that they have no rpm limiter here in the States. Mine seems to pull harder than my 880 did before I had it ported. I don't think the 088's need to be ported compared to the 880 and No flippy caps on the 880.
Check Madsens, they had new 880 powerhead's for something like $1495 last month when I was there.
