Default History of Stihl S10 saws

GDay all, Just wondering if anyone nows some history of the stihl s10. I have done the usual google searches which gave me some info but im keen for more.

A bottle of bourbon and ebay lead me to buy one cause it had a good look to it. Maybe illl start a vintage collection

Yeah and as solid as an 090 as well. Next bottle of bourbon i want to get an 090 an ddo a rebuild. Im keen as after seeing the 090 rebuild thread

You know there is a top handle and a rear handle S10.

Cool saw, somehow i dont think i would want to climb with that top handled saw. It would kind of be like using a 460 for pruning.

The bow is an intiging design, it sort or forces you to cut near the kickback zone, Ill bet there was a few injuries from that.

Do you happen to know what sort of compression they normally run?

Around 155-60 compression.
