You don't have to buy the whole clutch cover and chainbrake lever to fix the broken brake band Tree Surfer. Any Husky dealer can readily order you a brake band for around $40. I have a 2008 395XP and I'm positive they are interchangable.
I love my 395XP with 32" b/c. and would be proud owning a 394XP also.

holeman, the wierd thing is this saw is running .404 sprocket with .63 skip chisel. i have never seen a husqy with .404. its a nice aggressive pitch.

Here is a pic of my retired Stihl 066 Mag with a 24" .404 in .050 !! I still have about 25 feet left of this now very rare .050 Oregon 50AL chisel bit ground chisel chain.
.404 chain is durable with low stretch and long filing life, much better then the 3/8. A real workhorse.

Most reliable saw I ever owned. I bought this 066 brand new in 1992, thousands of hours on it now and almost 20 yrs later the cylinder still has never been removed.
This model of 066 is called a Magnum [dual outlet muffler] Artic. The Artic stands for heated carb. Here in central Canada saws sometimes are run when its -30 F or colder, so the carb has to be heated to keep them from icing up. This picture shows the heating elements on the carb.

I know you are proud of your saw and you must really need the adjulation , confirmation, and back-slapping, as you have posted pics on at least four different CS forums, but there are a couple more that you have missed. I will let you search them out for yourself.

Awww, come on! You know you have to post this saw on every CS forum. How much are you going to have in it bf it's running without problems?
