Default Fuel leaking from vent tube

Hi all,

Today I noticed fuel leaking out of the vent tube on my 021 when it is nose down ( ie... hooked to my lanyard in tree). I have never noticed this before. Any clue what could cause this? I read through my saws repair manual and the user guide and found no mention about this. I searched the forum and found nothing that applied. Any idea's? I have tools and can work on my saw even a some spare parts. Not exactly sure where to start and do not want to rip it apart if its something simple I may have missed on inspection. Thanks for any help on this matter. Gas covered saws suck up in the tree.

Usually the rubber tank vent or split hose.

Happens more in summer when saws are left in the hot sun.

Thanks. I looked it over again and see a couple tiny micro cracks in the fuel line from the tank. I have an extra line so I am going to replace it .

could be also full tank of fuel, then warm, then leak--try 3/4 full and see what happens--

Well I ordered new rubber lines (all of them ) for the saw once they get here I'm going to install the rest. The saw has been good to me and this is the first time I have had any issues with it. thanks for the help.
