Default Fixable 066 available for shipping down under

OK, I bought this saw thinking that I could fix it, but it would take too much time and I do not have the tools to split the case and put in new case bearings and seals. So I am offering to ship it down under as a parts saw for my cost ($175 US) plus shipping (typically about $75 US sods by US post to AU). If it does not sell here, I will part it out on Ebay, as it has easilly over $350 in good parts. US buyers also welcome.

The saw is a Stihl 066 MR 'red light' or 'red eye' model saw. That is known as the Magnum Rescue rev limiting model, but it is more commonly called the west coast red-eye model. It is a Magnum and has a 3/4 wrap handle, and large side cover. It also has the larger bearings and crankshaft, and the aluminum flywheel. The engine is sweet; no scoring and good compression. The red light limiter coil basically prevents engine damage by any funky carb tuning, and these 066s are said to last forever (except when people over-tighten the chains, and the blow the clutch side case bearing, as is the case on this saw). This saw ran good the other day, only the seal and right side bearing/oil drive worm are toast as far as I can tell.

The saw is used, and was used by a tree company in the PNW. The saw is complete. The problems that I have found are: Has a chipped trigger, and while it works, that should be replaced; missing fin on the AL flywheel; clutch side bearning and sleal is shot; oil pump worm gear and drive are trashed; top name plate is missing; brake lever is broken/missing; LED for indicating limiter has been removed; one AV mount is cracking; side cover/outer dog/spike is missing, and chain catcher roller is missing; side cover dog mounts are worn open (can fix with JB weld); 3/4 wrap (Aluminum several-piece) is good but the main hose/grip cover is missing (replacable from Stihl, or can be taped over); side cover rubber back peice is missing; gas cap needs a new rubber seal, 3/8 8 pin rim drive is pretty shot.

The good stuff on this saw: Jug and piston are nice, no scoring and good compression; muffler is dual ported, some rust but usable condition (someone added some metal welded to the cover plate of the muffler for some reason, maybe as a heat sink?); starter and recoil are good, has elasto-start handle, rope is getting old but works fine; clutch and drum and clutch bearing are in good shape; oil pump seems to be good; rear handle assebly is all good (other than chipped trigger); carb is good and was working fine; all bolts and nuts are good, nothing is stripped; bar studs and adjusters are fine; inside dog/mounts are good; coil is good; top plates and AF cover are good, but faded paint; the has better air filter system (full wire-mesh air cleaner); both tanks hold gas and oil, no leaks and the caps are good; gas and oil lines and filters are good; wiring is good, though could use a new coil to plug wire (replaceable on the 880); brake components are good other than the lever being gone, as far as I can tell the crank is good; has the PNW large capacity side cover which is good except the dog mount holes (set nuts in JB Weld and it will work fine, or run it withuot the outer dog and add the standard chain catcher instead of the roller).

I have shipped saws ot Oz before. I have references here on TW if needed. I take Paypal, but you would have to pay for the exchange costs (2%) and shipping/insurance. My brother works for the PO here, so I can pretty much gurantee shipping.

I parted this saw out on Ebay, so it is not available any more. The right side bearing alone was $50 sods, plus $20 more for the seal! Never mind having to split the cases... not worth it. Too many special spendy or complex homemade tools required.
