Newguy is a mysterious man.

Like the pheonix he rises, except this guy just came out of nowhere, has weathered the storms of forum turmoil and somehow managed to sift the shit from clay.

Seems in the end he knows who the good guys are, so if ya on his Christmas card list you're OK.

Yes, NewGuy refered me as well, and that was after a post I did elsewhere, and that he responded to, got him getting flamed!
I am glad he did though. This site is nice and easy.

My ms 200t for up in the tree, did a couple of cuts today without putting on the hearin protection. Very obnoxious, but a very fast saw.

I was also referred by newguy! I really think he is learning
a lot on this site and he is just like most of us were when
that young, we just can,t remember that far back.
Anyway he does believe in husky power so can't be far
out there. Favorite to date 372xp for a small saw.

I wonder if stihls 4 saws (020, 361, 440 and 660) account for like 60% of their total saw sales???
Seems like it here!

Hey Sean, I like the ol 090 beast.

I dont know what was more dangerous though, the felling, squating what looks like in front of the kickback zone, or the spiky bit of root it looks like your sitting on

Just joking, appreciate a complicated fell, and that was one. Anything full of multi sections where your cutting is dicey.

The difficult jobs are good jobs as long as reward is greater than risk, if the client cant appreciate that then they deserve what they get when it all goes wrong with the cheapskate option.

At least he sounds like a decent young man, with a heart of gold - but prone to make some mistakes now and then....

- he got banned again on that other site, I don't know what happened this time.

Thumbs up Re: Favorite saws.

Allmost forgot; the favoutite saw is the German made MS361W - it is the perfect allround saw around here....

Another favourite is a Jonsereds Raket 621 from 1970 - that saw was well ahead of its time back then - and it is still going strong!

Flamed? Give it time. These Aussies are a tough lot.

As for saws, my MS361 is my favorite. Runs and runs and runs. Smooth, not hard to use, light enough to use all day and big enough to all the stuff we need to do here with a chainsaw. It will drive a 24 inch bar, though I usually run it with an 18 or 20 inch. Response is good, easy to maintain, and never breaks. I have had it pinched, dropped, tossed about in the back of the PU, in sub zero (F) weather, and it has yet to need any tuning other than blowing off the filter and adjusting the chains. I run good bars on it though, Stihl ES and GB Pro. And all Stihl chains, mostly RM for the crud we have to cut through and cut up around here.

I'm staying husky loyal because that 51 has fallen out of trees before and didn't break and last week a tree fell on it and no damage. That and I had a few bad experiances with stihl so I won't buy any more stihls.
