Anyone have any information or an opinion on this saw? I saw a used one for sale the other day and was wondering if they're any good as a firewood saw. I think that it has a manual oiler which would kind of stink.

Just bought one, (cs670) with a 24inch bar. Nice saw, and for $500.00, it will serve me well! Was pricing the shindawa 757, and the styhls, and huskys too. I have an echo and shindaiwa dealer, so service will be same day or next day. I'd need to drive over 100 miles for a styhl or husky dealer. When buying a piece of equipment, you need to factor in alot of things, and the echo came out ahead for price, service, and my needs. jm2c It is a heavy saw, around 14pounds. |
