I am currently looking at a cs-3450 at a used store in Toronto that I can pick up for 100 bucks, Its a little dirty but its just dust sticking to oil, I am a weekend user and I currently have a few "Canadian Tire specials". I am eager to buy a real saw Does this sound like a good deal and if so what should i look for to make sure its not junk |

It sounds like it would be good for trimming up around the house, thats about it.The only saw echo made that i liked was the cs 3000 top handle. Model Profile: CS-3450 If yuor wanting to cut firewood,go stihl or husky.

The 3450 is the rear handled version of the 3400. Both share the same body as the gutless 30 cc 3000, but with 33.4 cc, I think. $100 if a good price if it is in good shape. Durable little saw, and if you open up the restricted muffler, it will cut about 205 faster. Too small for serious firewood cutting, but will work, just a tad slow. |

That's a heavy, underpowered homeowner saw that's hard to do major work on. But, they run well and last, I'm told....and are well built for what they are. Don't pay much for one, but it'll work fine for ya. |
