Default echo 770 backpack blower

does anyone know how to adjust the carb settings on this? the book says you have to take it to the dealer, and the dealer claims that you need "special tools" and the adjustment screws are "hidden". WTF!

Hi Corey, are they just talking about the limiter tabs on the adjustment screws? If so, I'd get them to do the adjustment for you, then replace the limiter tabs. If you leave them off, the screws will continually vibrate out on a blower, much more than a saw, hedge trimmer, or line trimmer. Then it will bog down every time you press the throttle & you will get very annoyed!

first of all, i couldn't find the screws, so i looked in the book for the location. then the book says to go to a dealer. the only adjustment i can make is for the idle. the dealer claims it is "bad gas". meanwhile, all my stihl saws and blower do not have a problem.

it falls on its face when i throttle up. i had this problem at the beginning of summer, when the weather changed. now, we are getting into winter, and the same problem. the dealer had it for 2 weeks. he claimed it was bad gas, he had to clean the carb, adjust the screws, etc, and he should not have done a warranty job, but he "did it as a favor".

i really don't want to have to pay the weasel d!ck, or any weasel d!ck for that matter, to adjust carb screws. thats BS.

we need one of those little smiley face icons for blowing smoke up your a$$.
