Default Dealer support Butchered chainsaw

As soon as i heard husky was goin to stop making the 75cc xpw i went on an internet hunt to find me one. I just had to have me one. So I found a new one and had it shipped to me. It was my pride and joy I hadnt used it much as it had its fourth tank of gas in it. My whole plan was to play with it and keep it looking new as long as possible. I have other saws that i work with and use hard. The only thing was ever since i got it i had a small oil leak that started getting worse since i got my saw from the west coast i figured i would just have it fixed at my local dealer. When i took my saw to them it looked like it had just came out of the box. I should have realized when i mentioned it was the big powerhead and they didnt know what i was talking about and didnt know what an xpw was that i was at the wrong place. They was very nice actd proffesional and told me theyd have it done in about 5 days.So i trusted them since they had a room full of big saws. My saw had been cleaned everytime i used it and did not have a speck of sawdust on it and i even cleaned the oil off of it. They even asked me if it was brand new and if i just got it from them.

So i get my saw back today and I couldve stroked when i looked at it. They had the front sticker tore off of it and it was beat up and totally filthy and greasy. It looked like they poured a quart of oil on it and kicked it on the concrete floor. I was so mad that i had to leave before i went back in and asked for a replacement decal. I understand that a saw is made to use and they get beat up. I dont understand why a dealer would beat a mans saw up and not take care of somebodys saw when they cost as much as they do.Now the saw wont even oil rite. I shouldve just fixed it myself but they said the warranty would cover it. So im sending it back to where i got it so they can fix it. I called them and told them the story and they said send it back and we will take care of it. I WANT TO THANK THE DEALERS ON THE WEST COAST FOR UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF TAKING CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS ANDS THEIR TOOLS. I wont even buy a sparkplug around here anymore id rather pay to have it shipped.

Are you sure it was your saw?
Sounds like a pack of @#$% heads if it is.

Yeah sadly i checked the serial number and they matched. Finding a full wrap saw in kentucky i kinda like a needle in a hay stack. Does everybody else take care of their saws like i try to do or am i just the crazy one?

Hello newguy99,
Nope, you ain't crazy, I like to keep my saws as clean as time will
allow me to. Sounds like you just had a real bad experience with a really
bad shop. Don't get discouraged. If you can, find a good local shop, they
will always take care of you. A good working relationship with your local shop will go a long way. Know what I mean?Work safe.
NHlocal.
