Question Chainsaw wreckers Brisbane

Hi Folks

Just wondering if anyone knows of any chainsaw "wreckers" or small engine wreckers in the Brisbane area.
I never miss a new item on ebay and am looking for an alternative.
Any clues would be appreciated.

What are you looking for, for parts. I know where there is a small engine repair shop, that has complete chain saws for parts, or salvage, that are pretty reasonable. Let me know, what your are looking for, and I might be able to find it, or at least try. Bruce.

Since you haven't been here long enough, and haven't enough posts, for Private Messeges, look me up on Facebook, under my user name on this site, and request a friendship there. I might be able to help you out, with parts for your 088. Bruce.

Hi all, has anybody else had any experience with this model saw? I have the opportunity to buy one from a mate; about 5yr's old, it's had the equivalent of 5 yr's heavy home-owner use, needs a new bar (still has the original bar on it)

I removed a rubber tree for him on the weekend & he was using it as a ground saw, so I had a bit of a play with it; it revs like crazy!!! Also, it's extremely loud (no muff mod). It's very light though. On the downside, even though it was revving & screaming a high pitched scream, I don't reckon it was getting through the timber any quicker than my 260.

I let him have a play with the 7901 & before he cut anything with it he was having a light hearted groan about the weight, but his face lit up once he had it at WOT in the cut!
