Hi. this is my neat saw holder for chain sharpening. Its an electromagnetic lock used on access controlled doors. when swithced on the bar sticks against it so tight it cant be removed until you flip the switch off. I find it better for gripping the bar than a vice, and its semi portable, you just need 12vdc. ![]() ![]() I spose many different implementations of this can be done like instead of mounting it on a wooden board like I did you could mount directly on your workbench. or maybe for in the woods mount it on the board with a 12vdc battery. Comment, like, dislike. use it, don't use it. just sharing. Tom |
