Default Chainsaw for cutting up felled trees

Hi all and greetings from Tipperary, Ireland.

Must say I am enjoying reading lots of your posts on here. I'm looking for some advice on choice of Chainsaw. I have just cut down 30 trees for my Dad (mainly Lawson Cypress 50-70 feet high). I use my Husqvarna 365 which I find is a superb Chainsaw but is far too heavy for cutting off all the light branches from the fallen trees. What would you recommend for cutting off light branches and also for cutting up these felled trees?? Or would you think that I should be using my 365 for cutting up the trees?? It's just I find it quite a heavy saw.

Thanks for your replies

Shadapo, I would personally go with something like a Husy450 or the one that I just bought, a Husky 445. It is light enough and does very well with a 325 BC, and a 16 inch bar.The 445 is very gas efficient and had great anti vibration. In my opinion the saw has very good power to weight. The only bad side to the saw is that it uses a good amount of plastic, but what newer saws don't?It does not have or need a catalytic converter as the engine is the x torque and burns very clean. Hope this helps, Ken in Texas

Can I place a take out order for some of that good brew?

Those 45cc to 50cc range Husky's are good for wood, and weight is good.

I get those branches cut fast with my ported NE346XP and it would even buck up the bigger stuff if I wanted to use it for that.
