The other day my chain brake spring on my hardly used (but well out of warranty) shat itself. Got a new spring and had it fitted but we can't seem to get it to run without it still being "on" slightly and yes chain break is off. lol Rev it too much and sparks fly Tis unusual that the spring went in the 1st place on such a low hour saw and clutch is running true with no movement in the bearings. Wonder if I got a dodgy casting on casing from new.![]() Any thought or suggestions wood be appreciated Last edited by comgreserv; 17th January 2012 at 01:52 AM. |

Sounds like something wonky from the factory. Have the dealer look at. If the dealer will not stand by the saw you bought from him,if he will not stand up for you get in contact with the manufacture,it is a safety issue they need to deal with. This why real loggers buy Stihl |
