I just received a new chain tensioner adjuster in the mail and it came with a plastic insert or tube type fitting that goes with the assembly. Doesn't show it in the manual and I don't recall having seen it before so I am wondering where does it go? Perhaps on the end of the screw as a guide? Thank you for any responses.

This post looked kind of lonely with no responses so I thought that I would provide the following update. After researching, and trying different configurations, I discovered that the tubing was to be inserted into a cavity in the saw housing that provided stability to the adjusting screw. A picture would help but not necessary due to the age of the saw. However, if needed by anyone, I can provide it . Thank you.
