Default Can I get some opinions on this rebuild kit?

Hey all, just saw this rebuild kit for my 361 p&c online and wanted to know what you guys thought about it. Considering picking one up.

Hi Ken.
Looks to be OK, not bad for price either, compared with the dealer price (over $200.00) I'd give it a try.
Also will give you almost the same power for a stock 044, with a 50mm piston, and cylinder. Bruce.

The problem with this kit, and 90% of the ones out there are that they are not to the standards that Stihl uses, and thus you can expect them to last about half as long. All of them come from China. Mahale is better than the others (supposedly). Some criticise Stihl for using some other branded jugs, but they are fabed and tested to much higher quality specifications. Personally I would not use any other over jug and slug stuff than Stihl in a Stihl saw, but I see a lot of people that do.

BTW: I know where there may be a ~slightly~ used Stihl 361 jug and slug out there to be had for about $100. From a very reliable source here on the west coast, if he still has it.
