Default buying an 80-90 cc saw

im looking to get a saw a bit smaller and lighter then my 3120xp husky. i run a 42" on my 3120xp.

point me in the right direction for a 80-90 CC class saw. i will need it for bar lengths 28-36". i mostly cut soft woods trees about 70% of the year and hardwood 30%.

3120xp powerhead only weighs 23lbs my kind of saw. I personally use old West Germany big cc saws and find that my 056 AVE Super @ 87cc has the power needed to run big bars and at 20lbs the math works on the weight vs cc needed. I'm always going to pull towards the pre 1985 old metal saws and in any brand. I mill with a Mac 800 circa 1979

take a look at the Dolmar 7900. It's German made and has the best power to weigh ratio in its class. I own one and it runs flawless. The air cleaner is easy to access too.

I own the Makita version of the 7900 & am extremely happy with it!
