Not really, the nearest Stihl retailer is a bit of a drive and they have no parking lot so need to find on street parking that is a problem to find a spot... just a horrible location. I have an Ace nearby that carries Oregon bars and chains. Read on this website that some do use the Oregon on their Stihls... just need to find a reliable cross reference. I use the saw occasionally and not everyday so maybe this would be fine. |

Currently running a 25" Stihl bar with 3/8 .050 chain... thought it would be nice to have a 20" bar for some of the smaller work I have to do. Been out looking at three different places and no luck finding any bars for the Stihl... places around here stock the Oregon for other makes but not Stihl. |

Picked up a small electric McCullough with a 14 inch bar at a garage sale last weekend for $5... just a little chain sharpening and added some bar oil, it runs and cuts great. Yeah, it is corded but for some small stuff around the house it was perfect to use, besides, the price was right. |

Caseys, The bar for your Stihl should be the standard Oregon D025 bar end, and it should not be a difficult bar to locate. That bar should be in just about any saw shop, unless they are just plain ol' out at the time you went in.....Hope the number helps a little.
