Hello All- I am new here at Tree World and found your site by looking up information about felling a tree. I am a woodworker/woodturner in the Philadelphia area that has a need of felling a tree in my front yard. So being a hobbiest wood turner I am starting to learn the ins and outs of felling trees so I can do it safely and get some nice wood to turn. If there are any of you out there in the Philly area it would be great to hear from you! I would love to know what you do when you come across any burls! Hope to learn a lot! ![]() Tom |

| ![]() I see no one has answered, so I'll post a small greeting to a burl-lover on the other side of the world. I do not live in the Philly area, but in Norway. So meeting is a bit difficult.... I post a link to another thread where I show what I am doing with burls. From burl to bowl. Good luck with the burls! Leif. |
