Default Wanted: super split splitter

Not sure if this sort of thing is allowed on here. I guess I'll find out soon enough :-).

I've spoken with Paul at super split but I think our needs are in the way too hard basket for him right now and the costs of getting it from them to an LA port for the boat for shipment to NZ just pile a heap more onto the cost of one for us. I'm happy to arrange all the freight so it's an easy transaction for the seller.

I know I've probably got more chance of finding a needle in a haystack than finding someone willing to part with their great condition super split splitter, but I won't die wondering.

Can anyone help please? Does anyone know of anyone who can help that's somewhere near California?
In desperation, I was going to try contacting the wood wolf guys who do the super split copies but I think I'd rather have a second hand super split and I also read they themselves have a fair amount on back order as it is.

Sometimes being so isolated from main/good manufacturers is a tad inconvenient.

If you can help, please can you name the model you've got, the condition it's in, where it can be collected from and what you want for it?

in advance,

Hopeful Kiwi.

Cheers for that. I did look at these a while back but I quite like the flywheel concept as opposed to hydraulic - faster cycle times, less maintenance, cheaper, very productive. If I could combine the features of the loading lifter and folding conveyor of the super-axe with the concept, speed, lack of hydraulics, long life of a super-split, and at a price I could afford, that would be getting close to firewood splitting nirvana for one-man, heavy domestic/light commercial operations.

Looking to see if anyone has a super splitter in the new jersey area. Just wanted to see it run before I buy one.

Get onto an engineer, design it and build it yourself. (DUH).
