A lot of people would disagree with me but damn that table is sexy

I would love to spend my retirement building things like that (on demand) for customers who WANT that sort of thing, not for the money but for the love of creating something like that.
You are obviously very proud of it and so u shold be.
Well done!

I am only an amateur at making things out of timber. My table i bought the slabs but all the rest of the timber i cut,all the joints and things are only very basic.. Thought you might like to see my tv cabinet i made as well. Now with this one i cut all the timber, the slab is bloodwood its hard to get nice bloodwood with its pockets of sap this slab is beautiful the rest is made up of ironbark the shelves are red cedar, might even be a bit of stringy bark in it too. made it about 4 years ago..as you can see where i moved the tv back the wood is lighter its going darker where exposed...

We did a bar top out of a 15' pecan tree similar to that one time. It is to this day one of the neatest things we have done.

Sometimes I think that I should purchase a mobile sawmill and take it around to jobs. But once you factor in the shipping costs, kiln setup, storage, ect... it becomes quite expensive. Maybe someday though, we always see some incredible looking trees.

Nice looking sawmill. Would be even better if it had hydraulic arms to lift the logs up.
