Question newbe questions re firewood and tools

Good evening, Two things
1. I am looking for a source of information about the various types of timber of southeast Queensland.
-picture and or good description
-name botanical and common
-structure(weakness/strength etc) and use of the timber.

2. Where to purchase certain tools - log roller, cant or peavey hooks (preferably southeast Queensland area).

I only collect firewood for personal use but I like to be as well equipped(physically & mentally) as I can afford to be.
ken.
