Default mills peterson or lucas?

hi just looking to see if anyone as use a peterson or lusas mill . Thinking of but one down in warehouse to use up my logs that go though chipper. The sawmill variety not slabber.

stan's down at mullumbimby is a peterson, he use sell them but as stopped. I want it to be manly base down in shed and to move on site when necessary

Ask the manf of both to give you a couple of references and ring them ... like ring the owners of them and see what they say, ask what they think of other brands etc.

Which is more accurate and gives the better finish etc.

They should do that for you.

ive got a lucas 827 kolher 27hp motor good cheap mill but 100% manual operated [you have to push and pull]they also do a 3 phase mill head for static setups where there's power.Peterson also do a manually operated mill and some mills semi automatic but much more money
mostly we slab with our mill but it can cut up to 215mm x 215mm dimensioned timber
