Hi Guys, Aside from doing my own Logging for my own Private Wood Fuel source, I try to make lots of small projects fron wood scraps and discarded lumber from our local saw mill, my latest addiction has been Wooden Whirligig Making they have become quite welcomed by my neighbors, family & friends and I sell them now to local shops and on my website. They are relatively simple to make with the basic knowledge of woodworking & mechanics and also lots of fun to come up with new challenging ideas. Just thought I'd share it with you. you can check them out on my web site "DANS CARETAKER SERVICE" thanks for looking, Dan O' Last edited by Jeff Darby; 9th January 2010 at 05:02 PM. |

I used to do some fine wood working, but that was a while ago. I have a wood working room, with a lot of wood working tools, here in the basement, that belonged to my Dad. ![]() I once turned a rolling pin, on the wood lathe, for my ex-wife (was my wife at the time), for Christmas one year, and a couple of plant stands, for her Mother, and her one Brother. I haven't done too much since then, but I'd like to get back into it again, hopefully in the near future. Bruce.
