Congrats Dano!!

Dad just called and said he'll be home late. He's a CHP (highway patrol), said he stopped a car for speeding on the freeway, doin 96mph, and smelled weed when he was talkin to them. They gave him a bag with just crumbs of weed in it, but he didnt think that was it so he searched the car and found...

22lb of marijuana... in baggies and canning jars, in duffel bags in the backseat.

Thats quite a bit of weed! Go Dad!

I am fine thank you and the weather done here in Sydney has been pretty average lately and very windy at times.

Very clever thread manipulation, Ekka.
Warmish windyish day down here, missed yesterday's storms, but did get 15½ drops of rain and 4 wee drops of hail.

Bought me a new laptop today. HP DV61244TX, $200 off the marked price as well. Pretty sweet laptop so far, I love the smooth flat keyboard, soo much easier to use. Pretty powerful machine too so I can use it for stuff as well.

Another day another dollar! fall has came to the northwest regon, and it is telling us winter isn't far behind. finding it hard to get my own work done as the Steelhead run on the Snake River is fantastic this year. I don't get to get on here often as there isn't much time between jobs and my own school work. Well thanks for the reply, and will be back as soon as I can. have a good day: john01

John, I wish I could be on the snake with ya buddy......love catching steely's.
Never been to the snake. I go up to the ST.John river in Michigan for steelhead and cojo fishing in late Sept when I go. Unfortunatlely never made it there this year, but good to hear someone is having a good year.

Hi Ekka,
I'm really enjoying the site.
Already posting to Chris, Banner and Galbee!!

The drought has broken in the Western Dist (Vic).
Which is awesome.
Always green here. 900ml annual.
Enjoy those kidlets.
I have just become a Grandma.
My little Grandson is 4 weeks old.
He really is a dear little boy.
My favourite is a Black Jimmy.
Mostly in the summer after a big day and not too many
or I cant work the next day!!!
Dont know where the last 10 years went.
Thanks for your input into the site.
Great stuff!!
Talk again.

Well look at what the Kitty Kitty dragged in. . Good to see you back. Vehicles breaking down isn't fun. Hope you get it back working again soon. Bruce.

This is really funny! I'll have to get the hang of these "threads"

Am so delighted with the recent rains and my water tanks are overflowing, but am worried about my silver birches, so hope I get a reply soon to my query.

what can I say - Spring has sprung - love the summer, but don't wish last year's Victorian summer on anybody.

Best place for you to post about your silver birches, is to go to the forum, ask an Arborist here, and start a new thread, and I'm sure that you will get a fast response. Also welcome. Bruce.

Cool! My very own 63 page welcome thread started a year before I got here.

How'd y'all know I'd find my way here?

All's cool with me. Work is slow, but bills are getting paid and I've got some stuff in the planning to keep me busy.

Have a wife and two kids. One little boy a little over a year and one that we'll find out what it is when it's born. They are the loves of my life and nobody touches them or else they learn about angry papa bear.

I've been climbing trees since I could walk. Love chainsaws. Love working it the rain and snow and heat of summer; good weather is boring, but does let you get the most work done.

I'm here to learn from all of you. I'll also share and teach what I know.

And last but not least I'm not perfect; my shortcoming is pride, if I were only humble I'd be perfect.
