MS390's are a piece of junk, trade up or flog it on Ebay to some sucker, MS441 would be a wise choice, also the MS361 There's 3 saws in the Stihl line up that really suck. ms290, 310 and 390 ... mark my words, the people who say they're great either sell them or it's one of the first saws they ever used unless they traded up from some Poulan wild thing etc.

Hey Ladies and gentlemen. I've been awol for a while, no guarantees on spending tons of time here or at the other forums over the next few months. Been busier than a one legged man at an a$$ kicking contest. Hope everyone is well!

![]() It's just not a performance saw, it's made for the handyman market. Sometimes they can be right SOB's to start when hot, notice the doughy throttle response ... just like a Vdub.

So, you've had rain - thats good, seems you really needed it. Hopefully it won't be too extreme. Good to hear about your kids - my youngest step son is doing his final high school exams and has just turned 16. So Dee and I get to go back on the mountain at weekends. What else....we bought a cottage on a mountain with 1/2 an acre (just before mortgage market blew up - phew, a close call!). Had new teeth after having them kicked in for talking sense on ????????. Resigned as an instructor/assessor. 50% contracting, 50% consultancy now. Haven't slept in 3 days cause the wind turned to a rare north easterly at 70mph - right against the patio doors of our bedroom. Been a few trees down so done some clear up today; seems one of them has a chainsaw cut and barberchair from a naughty neighbour - seems they thought the wind was a good opportunity to get rid of a council tree by 'hobbling' it a little. Maybe a case of wilful damage there. Thats about it I think. Hmmm.....its good to talk - nothing but sheep and rocks round here. Got to give the fridge some attention... | |

Things are good here in southern Spain, we have had a long spell of soft rain and although the dams have not filled the `campoŽ is growing well. I am trying to get some seeds for neem trees (Azadirichta indica) as we are hearing good things about them, any suggestions?
