| Well Howdy, We've been busy this year. Actually the best sales record of January online sales ever and since we are experiencing warm days up in the high 60's we are actually selling lawnmowers. Our service shops both the two cycle dept and the L&G dept are overflowing. We are truly blessed. I'd like to thank all our good customers. In our area we were hit by a drought last year in May and it continued all year. Now since some winter rains we have had all burning bands lifted. We are still very low on water but we all have enough to be able to perform most all activites. Ekka, Thanks for such a warm invite. I'll check out your forum. Thanks Tony |

| Kind'a neat! Personal thread ...for everyone, a great idea Eric. Things are well. Daughter will be 2 next week. An irony that the 2 years of her life (a rich blessing to mine) coincided with lowest years of my career in Arboriculture. But we are coming out of the valley and entering a season enthusiaism and prosperity. My hope for hapiness for all.

| Things are going ok ... The wife and I are getting ready for our honeymoon ..... ..(thank you) ... we just got married on Dec 23 and her daughter is on vacation in 2 weeks so that is when we will be off(Feb 14 - 25). but other than that just checking out some new gear I need to get like pads and straps to freshen up the gaff's and I have my eye on a saddle so I can retire the belt. And spending some free time reading through forums.... You will be seeing more of me |

| Hi EKKA and everyone The weather has been interesting 3 weeks ago the lake was level with my yard and we almost flooded and now on Wednesday night we had 50 cm or 1 1/2 feet of snow. Lots of shoveling Because of the snow i was busy at my other job a fire fighter. Winters are slow do not really cut many trees; can't wait for the spring only one job at a time gets boring to much spare time. Greg

| Hey Ekka thanks for the PM, I didn't realize this thread was running. a lopa.......I'm sorry to hear about your father. That's got to really hurt. I'm lucky to still have mine, he's 75. We've been getting plenty enough rain for all of the trees and plants. I've got 3,000 gallons stored in tanks for the gardening.....but the lakes around here are still really low and if we don't get a lot more rain and if next summer is dry Atlanta is going to be in real trouble!

| Well ..this is the impact of the rain over the last few days on dam water levels (Greater Sydney Water supply)...increase is largely attributed to the dams in the Illawarra...Cordeaux and Avon. Warragamba Dam levels and Sydney Dam Levels - statistics on the Sydney Water crisis Work (quoting) last Monday took me to Kurnell in Sydneys south ...close to the Desalination Plant under construction ... Its all happening...concrete trunks going in and out of there were like bees ... to the proverbial honeypot! ![]() |

| Well thanks for the invite Ekka. Just got to this thread. We have a lot of snow now and if its not snowing its windy(40 mph for tomorrow) Makes even getting around difficult. I'm a career firefighter by trade, but trees are my second job. I have two kids, 22 & 18, hardly kids anymore. I'll see if I can't get better about posting more. Seems like I flip through about 4 different forums quick and then I'm off. But, thanks again! |
