| Just went over that ranger,it needs a rear output shaft seal[on order],camshaft, plugs, air filter wireset,at least 1 tire.I have the gas tank out of it right now so i can clean the contacts on the sending unit so the gas guage will work. Not to bad really,i'vae also been doing storm clean up,got a call about a fallen oak small eally but might be going back to remove 3 black cherry trees with root rot.

Like me - had a sit-on-top kayak in the Hilux Surf and stomped on the brakes - voila - new windscreen!

| Just starting off my day, getting ready to go to work. It's already hot and humid out there. It looks like it's going to be another drought ridden summer. Not good for lake levels. But we can sure bask in the sunshine! |

| Hi Ekka et al from cold Canberra. Have been doing some research on pollarding as I saw some magnificent examples in New york and London during a recent visit so thought I might have a go in the back yard. I have a mature Golden Elm that needs pruning to avoid the power lines and thought pollarding might be an option. however it appears that the project might have been better started a decade ago as it is 30-40 cm in diameter on the main trunk although many of the branches are much smaller. May still give it a go next month as it has to be pruned anyway.Have some smaller deciduous trees that I might start on also as pollarding definately has appeal. Off to see Keating the Musical tonight so will sign off for now. rgs TOM |

| Tucson is as dry and hot as only the desert can be. Glad I live in the mountains and visit Tucson when I must. 6,000 foot elevation makes a big difference in temperature. Agree time flys. My brand new granddaughter smiled at me today for the first time so I am in heaven. Learning some things about trees I want to share with her when she's a little older. Cheers! Raven |

Sorry for the strange places my post replys end up, gentlemen. I'll re-read the distructions on how to navigate this site. Clementine, I lived on a Portuguese Island 4 years as a kid and am looking forward to my next visit to the mainland. I was fluent in Portuguese when I left. Your kids will pick it up very fast. Eat lots of Lingucia for me because I can't find the good stuff here in the USA. Good luck to you and your family in Portugal! Raven

I must re-read navigating directions again. Anyway, Tucson is hot and dry. Would love to have a solid month or two of rain. It would green things up and settle the allergen pollins down! I remember the first day of my youngest childs first grade class. He has recently given me a most precious first granddaughter. She smiled at me for the first time today and my heart felt it would break. Hold those little ones moments to you because time does indeed have wings and before you know it you will be kissing your baby's baby and wonder where the years got to!! Raven

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Tonto here sends more replies to the Twilight Zone than in the place a reply should go. I find the people here so friendly and patient that we'll get the hang of posting soon. Raven
