| Hi Ekka, the sound of rain is music to my ears - love it & so do our gardens. It's great news the dams are getting a share too. Bet you were as anxious & nervous as your little one on her first day at school ?? Just been back from a week away in Fiji - currently their wet season, so very humid & hot. Not so refreshing swimming in 28 deg waters (pool & surf). Now back to the grind of work - ugh !!. Breaks are never long enough, so may take some long service later in the year. |

| Hi Liz. How did you get on with your tree problem? I'm nearby at Sutherland if you want me to take a look. Steve
Hi Quintrex, I've clashed with the neighbour...she's chopped some of my overhangs & thrown lemons back at me. I adopted a mature approach & gave her husband the opportunity to cut back their overhangs, bar one which I'll keep up my sleeve as a bargaining tool - they would have lost a nice bit of green. My way of saying 2 wrongs don't make a right. Thanks for the offer of taking a look, but I won't put you out. If you happen to be driving out my way, pls do give me a call 0416064306 & drop in to say hi. Thanks Steve. |

| Tegan is 7yo and Lindsay is 4yo ... both getting 1 year older this year. I don't like hangovers so avoid drunk big time, but a beer is nice. Hey Liz, what's your favourite drink, whether alcoholic or not. Mine is definitely beer.Yeah, they can get those grabs for the crane booms now and just climb/cut ... really top class stuff.
Ekka, I'm not much of a drinker but my fave drink would have to be Bianco Cinzano & lemon twist mineral water. Can never get drunk -I'm sick well before this can happen. I don't have enzymes to absorb alcohol; why it goes straight thru me. |

Looks like I am a bit late here....![]() Not much rain here, but quite a bit of snow the last couple of weeks. I am not complaing though, as it is less than it usually is at this time - far less, in fact. verey few really cold days as well, so far this winter. The downside is that I haven't been able to get to the cottage/woodlot and cut much, because my wife still hasn't recovered enough after the neck surgery to go there..... ![]() | |

| Yo Ekka and crew...Favourite drink is definately cider and always has been but in moderation!!! Long gone are the days of hairy hangovers and trying to climb...Having said that im enjoying a glass of wine with the wife after completing aerial rescue course in North Wales today. Even after 13yrs trading, of which 6yrs serious tree work its amazeing how much you can learn. Instructor Tony Hughes was great. We had 3 days frost and crystal blue skies then back to usual 2 days wet and very windy. Managed a nice transfer from one Monterey Pine to another via limb walk 50ft up...Bit gusty, but stoked!!! Must appologise for lurking for so long, just been finding my feet...Your advise and chat has been really helpfull...Thanks guys...Anyway my four boys are kicking off upstairs so must go and disperse before there is murder. Will post pics of our set up and team a.s.a.p. Cheers dudes. |

| It's a sauna bath! So did you just grab the cat by the scruff? No scratches? Makes you wonder as camphors should be pretty easy for a cat to get around, corky bark etc but they dont like going backwards to get down trunks do they.
