Depends..... Is she Hot??

Only joking!

If she's a bit tough and can hack the work, why not. If she's experienced then she knows how hard it is.

I think customers would like it, some guys might be impressed while some ladies might feel more comfortable being at home with at least one other woman around than just a bunch of rough looking strange guys.

Check her referances, give her a trial and see how it goes.

I have worked with women sawing and chipping, and I like working with them. No problems for me. I say if she is qualified, hire her. If she is a hottie, I would ~maybe~ not hire her. You do not need groundies and sawyers distracted with gawking and looking at her ass in a bucket lift.

Yah, the Mexican are here too. I am losing jobs to them giving rediculously low bids. They can work for less with no certification, no insurance, no taxes, and no license. Actually the guy I bought my second chipper from was getting out of the biz becasue of the Mexican invasion into the arbor business in Washington State.

Well at least the mexicans want to work! try getting the young (and alot of the older) in england to work; they just dont want to work hard or at all; you take them on they last a day and dont call you again IDIOTS: as for hiring a woman, if she was able to work hard and do a good job then why not just because she is female doesn't mean she is'nt capable of doing the work i would take on any one as long as they can do the work; keep up and not f*** around or mess up.

Nothing wrong with women in treecare mate!!! You guys don't really know yet, but my new girlfriend (almost a year now) is a certified arb. I imported her from holland and since four months we are living together. She doesn't actually do the work (we do climb together sometimes), but she is running the store out here. check it out...

Yep give her a go,if you think she can work hard what's the problem. My wife and I have worked together in nearly all of our hard labour jobs, from the kill floor at the meat works to a crow bar and shovel for five years straight.
If we hadn't started our family she'd be working right beside me now as well.
I think that the women also give alot more af a sensiable approch when they look at things to, wich can be a good thing.
