What use is Weed barrier, it doesn't work! I have tried 2 different types, covered with 50mm-70mm of gravel and in both instances the weeds start to grow again after a few months. I have looked at lots of other gardens that have been landscaped in a similar fashion an in all instances the weeds are growing through again. So why is this product sold as a "Weed Barrier"? It is not effective!

And it's SHIT for the soil, end of story. Never see any of us use it or recommend it, coarse mulch is best. Tell me, how the heck are worms going to penetrate the crap thing too? Shops will sell people anything, they dont care. Mulch, mulch, and mulch. Best thing, then use some soil conditioners, and good fungi is a trees friend. Not stupid plastic crap that turns soil rancid.
