| After many attempts to photograph a water feature I installed last year, I gave up and made a video instead. It wouldn't all fit in one frame, and the slope made it hard to photograph too. Anyway, it's one of my favorites ones so far. The plants are filling-in quite nicely already. Here's my pond page paragraph, in case I alter the URL in the album - Look for the filmstrip or page anchor link ... http://www.mdvaden.com/water-features.shtml If you have high-speed connection, the larger file is the way to go. It will be interesting to see this feature develop, if I happen to visit southern Oregon after we move. The plants really make the difference. ![]() |

| Very good mate. Day lillies I found were always under utilized in scapes here, great colours and easily managed. Really good thorough detail in the way you explain the intricacies. Some would debate you say too much, teaching your competitors, but the customers know ... who knows what. Good on ya. ![]()

| We have daylillies too. In that one video, the stalk that the dragon fly was on, is a type of Yucca that I had never used before. Stays small and develops several stalks. Hard to see, but there is a tiny Japanese maple, threadleaf hinoki cypress and about a dozen other plants. The blue fescue 'Elijah blue' is one of my favorites. |
