Put simply the DNS pointing provided by the host doesn't work properly. Why? I do not know.

The domain name registrar is MelbourneIt and recently they got a new service of DNS hosting which I used yesterday. It allows us at the domain to point to the site using the IP address of the site and bypassing DNS resolution at the host, so the host is cut out of that equation. Then everything started to work again for everyone.

Seems to be working great, here as well. I looked at the chase (whatever ), Link you provided, and being as computer literate as I am, I was scared to try anything, figured that my system would crash or maybe blow a gasket. . I too only experienced difficulties with this web site. Glad to see the problem rectified, and hope it keeps up. I find things get boring as well, when I can't get on here.
Thanks for all the help, and support Ekka. Bruce.
