| South Africa win the World Cup. Well done! Very sloppy showing from England, too many silly mistakes for which they were punished. Wilkinson, was he even on the pitch? I can't say I noticed. Doesn't look the kicker of 4 years ago, thats for sure. |

| Reg, the English backline lacked any real structure and plan a couple of promising breaks but nothing beyond individual brilliance, no pattern...and the line outs!!!! Congrats to SAfrica but feel robbed it wasn't NZ Vs SA...roll on the rule changes. Oh yes magic that the Argies beat France too

| Congrats to SA Saw some highlights ... but only remembered that SA and Australia are the only two countries that have won it twice. ![]()

| I think Argetina come out of this as winners also, and perhaps Fiji. But in hidsight, how the hell did the French team, who were just thrashed by the Argies, beat the Allblacks? On papers at least, it just looks weird. Rule changes or not, they're still the same for everyone. Anyhow, at least England managed to give the Aussies a spanking, again! ![]() |

| Sadly for us......and English rugby they played their best in the first half of that game against us. Not only were they woeful in the final so were SA, in a part of the country obsessed with rugby league that game has set real footy back about 5yrs up here. The administrators of Australian Rugby League must be rubbing their hands together in glee.....reduce the value for drop goals and penalties, increase the advantage to the attacking side, encourage flair attacking footy or else it will be the other code that absorbs union not the other way around.
