Default River Darling.

Last night I spent some hours in my hunt cabin, waiting for the fox. I was listening to the local radio, it was a program with questions about a lot of different things. One might call in and answer. The rewards are rather small, it's most for fun. I answered a question abuot the river Darling, where it was located. The anchor man was eager to know if it might be a wonderful place for people in love since it was such a beautiful name. I don't know, may be it is just full of crocs and snakes? I am sure you have a lot of pics and information about Darling, please post it here, and I'll give the radio man a link to it.

Leif.

There are 5 good pics in the second link. Unfortunatly it doesn't look like that all the time. I if I can find the one I want I'll let you know.

If anybody is really interested, you can buy this video. I did a lot of work in some areas they go to.

Jeez, even I didn't know Bourke was a booming paddle steamer port way back.

You may have heard sayings like "beyond the black stump" or "other side of the black stump" there's also this one "back of Bourke" .....

.... in context a conversation could go like this. "Jeez mate, where did ya find that, out the back of Bourke or something?"

In other words, beyond Bourke, their aint a lot.
