Default Planning a Mine Diving trip!

Some friends of mine have found a mine in the Owens valley area which has a large (8'x8') flooded vertical shaft, about 300' inside the main adit.

We're going to pack my wreck diving gear in there, and I'm going to do a "mine dive" to determine how many levels are located below the submerged area, and how deep the shaft is.

After collecting that information, we may set stage bottles at the first level and start doing a more in-depth exploration of that level; while other people on the trip map out the structure of the mine above the submerged area.

I'll post up pictures and videos after its finished. I'll be using my GoPro helmet cam to take videos and pictures during the dive.
