Default Peak lightning month approaching

2 people were killed and 8 injured from lightning strikes last week!

July is the peak month for lightning strikes and lightning related deaths. June is the 2nd lightning prone month.

According to the National Climatic Data Center, there were over 750 lightning incidents/reports across the United States in 2008.

So which state reported the most lightning incidents in 2008? (Lightning incidents include buildings and humans struck by lightning)

Dang there's some people get hit alright, not always does there have to be rain or dark thunder clouds either, on that link is some youtube vids worth watching.
