Default The official off topic thread.

So many good threads get totally derailed do to other conversations getting started in them, myself being guilty of doing it on many occasions so I'm starting this thread for the purpose of conversations, just chatting and what ever else.Theres no topic but please abide by forum rules.

OK, here's a good one.

Who has noticed that Hungry Jacks new menu board pricing is all for small meals now? Good con job hey.

Seems to me that the price increases over the last year are shockers, and if you shop you'll notice stuff like Smiths 250gram chips went to 230gram, to 200gram then 175gram.

The rip offs are over the top and they're getting away with it.

Havn't posted since August, been busy. Wedding was good at the muster. My wife is due with our first this Saturday.Don't know what it is,left that for a suppize.

Have now gone full time with this bussiness hope it works,if not oh well just get another job somewhere.
Good to be back on and talking, and learning more everytime.

School god how I wish I was back there and applied myself a little more. But work at the age of sixteen was a far more important thing.Funny how, well you carn't even wipe your arse without that elusive dollar.

Chipper's been busted so have been cutting it up with the gas axe, welding, replacing bolts, replacing rusted sections, feed bearings ect.No manual at all fugureing it out as I go.

Work's been quiet, got me worried a bit.All the repayments on one wage, but the higher the bar, the harder I go.

Would be happy if I could I try my hand at everything before I die.

Tradie, shit over here they scream for them everyday. If your qualified and can work your set. That's why we import so many I think.

No my hands shake bbecause one got ran over by a tractor a few years back and the other one got crushed by a cow stepping on it and boy genius here won't go to a doctor to save his life. The only thing coffee helps with is my hypertension.

Hows this.

Group of people (syndicate) win lotto, over $1/2million bucks. Then a waste of space loser who didn't pay up their fare share sues ... what a load of crap.

Logan Hospital colleagues fight over frozen lotto win | The Australian

Quote:
Syndicate organiser Kistamma (Kris) Hodgson said that particular colleague had not paid up for months and therefore should not share in the spoils.

"If you don't pay and when you win, you want a share, where is the justice?" she said.

"Why should we pay someone who doesn't pay?"

With lawyers now involved, the group's winnings - worth $571,428.58 - have been put in Ms Hodgson's solicitor's trust account.

Ms Hodgson said the money could not be distributed to herself and the other six deserving syndicate members until the legal dispute with their colleague was settled.
Pay up or piss off is my motto, money talks and bullshit walks.

Yep I agree Ekka. If he didn't put anything in why should he get anything in return.

So how was everybody's day today??. Good I hope. How was mine you ask, glad to here.
Well you will never guess what I did again today.Spent nine hours on my hands and knee's weeding a lady's garden, out of all the jobs I do this I carn't stand. Especially when I have done it on this one twice before.

Buy the way I forgot to ask did any of you go to Arbor camp at Mt Tambourine? I went with the wife and it was great.Fun couple days climbing, mostly drooling over the stumpman,bc1800 with the winch,oh yes and of course the cherry pickers. Will be putting in the lotto ticket this Saturday for sure.
